Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the QuitBruv mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

QuitBruv is a subscription-based mobile application designed to support users in their personal recovery journey from compulsive behaviors. The App provides:

• Streak tracking and progress monitoring
• Daily check-in functionality
• Coping tools (breathing exercises, urge timer, journaling)
• Educational content
• AI-powered coaching assistance
• Achievement and milestone tracking
• Weekly progress reports and insights

Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should use this App only with parental or guardian supervision.

Free Trial and Subscription

QuitBruv offers a 3-day free trial for new users. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the App.

During a TestFlight beta, purchase and trial flows may be provided in a testing environment and may not result in charges. For public release, subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store.

Free Trial Terms:

• New users receive 3 days of full access to all features at no charge
• You must provide payment information to start the free trial
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin
• To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends

Subscription Terms:

• After the free trial, subscriptions are available on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase or at the end of the free trial
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings

Cancellation:

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• Upon cancellation, you will lose access to the App when your current subscription period ends

Refunds:

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple according to their refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly.

User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of personal recovery support
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Be responsible for maintaining the security of your device
• Not share content from your App that could harm others
• Provide accurate information during account creation

The information and tools provided by QuitBruv are for general informational and self-help purposes only. They are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• The App is NOT a medical device
• The App does NOT provide medical diagnoses
• The AI Coach is NOT a licensed therapist or counselor
• Always seek the advice of qualified health providers with questions about medical conditions
• Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in this App

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services immediately or go to your nearest emergency room.

AI Coach Disclaimer

The AI Coach feature uses artificial intelligence to provide supportive responses. Please understand that:

• The AI is not a real person or licensed professional
• AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate for your situation
• The AI cannot provide emergency assistance
• You should not rely solely on AI advice for important decisions
• The AI uses your recovery data to provide personalized responses (see Privacy Policy)

User Content

Any content you create in the App (journal entries, check-ins, etc.) remains your property. This content is stored on your device by default. If you sign in and enable cloud sync, the app may upload a snapshot to our cloud backend to support backup and cross-device sync. When using the AI Coach feature, relevant context from your journey data is processed to generate responses (see our Privacy Policy for details).

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, and content, is owned by QuitBruv and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Use our trademarks or branding without permission
• Create derivative works based on the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Update pricing for future subscription periods (with notice)
• Change these terms with reasonable notice
• Modify the duration of the free trial for new users

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes through the App or our website. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Results from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUITBRUV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or content
• Personal injury or emotional distress
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Any damages resulting from reliance on the App

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuitBruv, its creators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. To cancel your subscription, you must do so through your App Store account settings at least 24 hours before your next renewal date. Simply deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for users who violate these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
