Information We DON'T Collect

Quit Fap Pal is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do NOT collect:

  • Your location or GPS data
  • Your contacts or phone data

  • Your streak data, journal entries, or check-ins
  • Any health or recovery information

Local Data Storage

All your data in Quit Fap Pal is stored locally on your device only. This includes:

  • Your streak count and history
  • Daily check-in records
  • Journal entries
  • Urge logs and coping tool usage
  • Milestone achievements
  • App preferences and settings

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties. If you delete the app, all this data is permanently deleted from your device.

AI Coach Feature

When you use the AI Coach feature, your messages are sent to our AI service provider (Google Gemini) to generate responses. Important notes about this:

  • Messages are processed in real-time and are not stored by us
  • We do not link your messages to any personal identity
  • The AI provider may process messages according to their privacy policy
  • You can use the app fully without using the AI Coach feature

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to improve the app experience. This includes:

  • App crashes and error reports (no personal data)
  • General usage statistics (which features are used most)
  • Device type and iOS version (for compatibility)

This data is completely anonymous and cannot be used to identify you or your recovery journey.

Third-Party Services

Our app may contain links to external content (like educational videos on YouTube). When you access these external services, their own privacy policies apply. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

Data Security

Since your data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security features. We recommend:

  • Using a strong device passcode
  • Enabling Face ID or Touch ID
  • Using the app's built-in PIN lock feature
  • Keeping your iOS updated

Children's Privacy

Quit Fap Pal is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17. If you are under 17, please do not use this app without parental guidance.

Data Export and Deletion

You have full control over your data:

  • Export: You can export your data from the app's Settings menu
  • Deletion: You can delete all your data from Settings, or simply delete the app
